Pulverizers are big machines used in various industries to grind different materials like plastic, glass, aluminum, concrete, coal, rock, resin, tires, and even medical waste. In rotomoulding it is used to grind the polymers into powders or granules before they are fed into the mold. These are very heavy duty machines and although they have very high production capacity they can be operated by a single person. These machines are available in two different configurations :
- Single Mill Pulverizer
- Twin Mill Pulverizer (Dual Mill Pulverizer)
The Twin Mill Pulverizer machine consists of a double jacketed body with water cooling system and is generally made up of steel. There are two discs and the gap between them can be adjusted so that the possibility of clogging of chips or granules is completely eliminated. This helps maintain the the complete system without much effort in addition to the production advantage of approximately 150 tones of pulverized material from each set of grinding disc. These machines efficiently manage granulated materials of low or high density plastic, PVC, PE, PC, LLDPE, and HDPE.
Another important part of these machines is the Vibro Screen. The Twin Mill Pulverizer machine come with specially designed vibro motor which is single decked and made of mild made of mild steel. These screens are execute various duties including screening of any powder or granules, sifting and grading or classification, removal of oversize/ foreign material before packing finished product, lump/ under-size/ chips/ dust removal from powder/ granules, solid liquid separation etc etc. Vibro screens can be placed online for continuous operation or offline for batch operation.
